BRANT BROUGHTON
A beautiful small village situated between Lincoln & Newark in the heart of the countryside. The name itself means 'Burnt fortified settlement'. The village Church dating back to the 14th century is said to have the most elegant spire in Lincolnshire.

NEWARK ON TRENT
A picturesque market town situated on the banks of the River Trent. Newark originally grew around Newark Castle which remains the most significant landmark in the town. Built in the early 12th century but left in ruins by a turbulent history, the now landscaped grounds are renowned as a romantic backdrop. The town has many cafes, restaurants and bars overlooking the Castle and the river. The market place is overlooked by the Georgian Town Hall. With it's traditional open market, speciality shops and high street stores this historic town has much to offer. Other attractions in the town include the Newark Air Museum, the Newark County Showground and cinema.

LINCOLN
From the cobbled streets and antiques to the modern art scattered throughout the city, the past and present is all around. Lincoln has something for everyone, with great shopping facilities, fantastic public art, many cultural events, and of course the many historic monuments.

The Historic Cathedral Quarter has the world famous Cathedral, Castle, and many unique gift shops. Lincoln Cathedral, built between 1192-1280 is held by many to be the most beautiful cathedral in Britain. The spectacular Gothic building is visible from miles around and was used for the filming of The Da Vinci Code. Built during the late 11th century by William the Conqueror, Lincoln Castle is now home to one of the four remaining copies of the original Magna Carta. Shop at all the High Street stores and stop for a coffee in one of the city's many cafes in the High Street Quarter. Enjoy a show at Lincoln Drill Hall, or a play at the Theatre Royal. Brayford Waterfront boasts a cinema plus various restaurants and bars all overlooking the water.
